Description:
Number 1053 in headlight, number 1052 below headlight. Number 1053 was built by Baldwin in August 1901 (c/n 19473) as CM&StP 4-6-0 Vulclain compound (15&25X28 cylinders, 62 inch drivers) class B-4 number 378. Renumbered in August 1907 to CM&StP 1728, renumbered in September 1912 to 4328, rebuilt to simple in July 1915 (22X28 cylinders, 63 inch driver), reclassed to G-7-bs and renumbered to 2878, renumbered in November 1920 to 2870, renumbered in June 1938 to CMStP&P 1053, scrapped in December 1952.

Description:
CMStP&P 4-6-0 Class G-7-bs 1059 at Sturtvant, Wisconsin July 11, 1947. Number 1059 was built by Baldwin in September 1902 (c/n 20926) as CM&StP Vulclain compound (15&25X28 cylinders, 62 inch drivers) class B-4 number 407. Renumbered in March 1907 to 1757, renumbered in October 1912 to 4357, rebuilt in October 1915 to simple (22X28 cylinders, 63 inch drivers), reclassed G-7-bs and renumbered 2907, renumbered in November 1920 to 2876, renumbered in June 1938 to CMStP&P 1059, scrapped in November 1954.
